Presenter

Sebastian Buxman is a first-year Mechanical Engineering PhD student at Santa Clara University, working in the Machine Learning and Safety Analytics Lab. His research focuses on ergonomic human-robot collaboration and assistive technologies, using wearable sensors, inertial sensing, and machine learning to characterize and improve human-machine interactions. Sebastian has earned his BS and MS in Computer Science and competed as an NCAA Division I athlete. His broader research interests include wearable sensing, remote physiological monitoring, and the design of safer, more adaptive human-robot work systems for advanced manufacturing.
