Summer Brandt has more than 20 years of human factors research experience in the Human Systems Integration Division at NASA Ames Research Center. She has served in several leadership positions under NASA’s Airspace Operations and Safety Program and co-leads the Human-Autonomy Teaming Lab. During her career at NASA, she has served as researcher in areas such as fatigue risk management, human performance in complex environments, design of advanced displays and decision tools for commercial aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems, and roles and responsibilities of human operators in increasingly automated and diverse airspace.
