Deborah Asabere
Biography
Deborah Asabere is a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on human-centered design, human-machine teaming, resilience engineering, and cognitive systems engineering. Deborah holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering and an MS in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining her Ph.D. program, Deborah worked in the public sector as a consultant for nearly three years. She served as a strategic advisor on innovative analytics tools and solutions, leading their development to identify trends and predict potential risks and threats for stakeholders. Additionally, she led a cross-functional team in developing a government website and user interface, creating designs that enhanced the user experience.
