Presenter

Olena Berezina is a Ukrainian defense and UAV-focused researcher currently based in the United States. Her work focuses on human factors, cognitive ergonomics, and operator performance in combat UAV environments during active war conditions in Ukraine. She is also involved in identifying partnership and contract opportunities related to UAV and defense technology initiatives.
Her research examines alert saturation, decision compression, workload management, and adaptive operator behavior under high-stress battlefield conditions. She is particularly interested in the intersection of human-centered design, defense technology, and next-generation UAV systems.
She is currently affiliated with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
