Mary Conger is a doctoral student in Occupational Safety and Health at West Virginia University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science and a Master’s degree in Engineering Technologies, Management, and Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas. Mary is a full-time faculty member in the Construction Sciences department at Dallas College, where she teaches credit courses in structural systems, MEPs, and plumbing. A Texas Master Plumber (M-40854) with a Medical Gas Endorsement and Water Supply Protection Specialist license, she is among fewer than 50 women master plumbers in the state. She also holds Plumbing Inspector and Journeyman licenses, serves as an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer, and teaches continuing education and exam-preparation courses for the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
