Anamaria Acevedo Diaz
Biography
Anamaria Acevedo Diaz is an undergraduate researcher at the University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology (Neuroscience Track). She serves as Lab Manager for the Adaptive Human Systems (AHS) Lab under the advisement of Mustapha Mouloua within the Transportation Research Group, where she supports multidisciplinary research integrating neuroscience, human factors, artificial intelligence, and physiological computing. Her research focuses on social and affective neuroscience, particularly how intimacy, affiliation, and perceived understanding are represented through neural, physiological, and behavioral processes in both human-human and human-AI interaction. Anamaria is also an incoming researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology through the MSRP-Bio program, where she will expand her work in social cognition and neuroscience research.
