Mousa Alsulais, MS, GSP, is a doctoral student at the University of Michigan specializing in Environmental Health Sciences with a concentration in Risk Science and Human Health. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Care and a master’s degree in Safety, Security, and Emergency Management with a specialization in occupational safety from Eastern Kentucky University. His research focuses on occupational health and safety, particularly workplace hazards, exposure assessment, and interventions among emergency responders and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel. Prior to his doctoral studies, he served as a Compliance Safety & Health Officer (CSHO) with Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health and is also an OSHA-authorized general industry trainer.
