Dr. Avishek Choudhury is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Management Systems Engineering Department and director of the Occupational Safety and Health Doctoral Program at West Virginia University. He received his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in 2022 and his master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering program from Texas Tech University. He is also a recipient of the Paul Kaplan Award, the Fabrycky-Blanchard Award, and the Excellence Doctoral Fellowship for exemplary academic performance, excellence in research, and promise in the study and practice of systems engineering.
