Biography
John D. Lee is the Emerson Electric Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he directs the Cognitive Systems Laboratory. His research focuses on trust in automation, human-AI interaction, and cognitive engineering, shaping how people understand, rely on, and collaborate with autonomous and intelligent systems.
