Florence Chua

Biography
Florence B. Chua is a biomedical engineer at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Armaments Center, where she supports Soldier-centered evaluation of armament systems at the Tactical Behavior Research Laboratory. Her work integrates usability testing, human performance measurement, physiological monitoring, and operational research to inform the design of systems used in time-sensitive military environments. Prior to DEVCOM AC, she spent 15 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs supporting engineering, research, and education efforts for Veterans, Service Members, and providers. She holds an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
